How can it possibly be August already?! Yesterday evening, I had a wonderful time meeting Kenzie + her family. Even though it hasn’t felt like much of a “summer”, it has been so nice not to shoot in the high temps. Regardless, the bugs still managed to find us! It was so much fun getting to know you better, Kenzie! Have a wonderful senior year :)
Zach & Christina drove all the way up from Alexandria, MN to visit me in my neck of the woods. It was Christina’s first time this far north, so it was fun to show them around :) We drove around the county and had the most beautiful goldeny night to end our evening. Fun fact: back in the day, I took Zach’s senior photos! What an honor it is to also get to capture another amazing milestone in his life – his marriage to Christina! I’m so excited for their wedding next August at the Crooked Willow in Alexandria – no matter the location of their wedding, the beauty + love between these two will be so fun to capture :)
Let me just start off by saying that Chesney should go into a career in meteorology – all day long, the forecast called for rain for most of the evening in Roseau, but Chesney was persistent that the weather would hold out for us..and low and behold it did!
We spend a beautiful evening roaming the streets of Roseau and ended our evening in the beautiful new Roseau gym. Chesney chose outfits that complimented her and her personality perfectly! It was so fun getting to meet you, Chesney! Enjoy your senior year!
Yesterday evening (in-between thunderstorms) I met up with this fun, lake-loving crew! Mr. Angelo is the big ONE and his big brother Rocks will soon be three! The first time I met this family, Rocko was just turning one – so crazy how fast time goes. It’s been so sad to see the damage the high waters have done to our shorelines in the area. I’m not sure when we will see our area beaches again, or if they will ever be the same. Despite all the damage, these guys still have a beautiful view to look at while they visit their home away from home. Thanks for the fun evening, Tiberio family!
I had so much fun capturing Holli + Aaron’s big day this past Saturday in Larimore, ND. I had the most difficult time narrowing down my favorites to share – there were so many great moments throughout the day. Thankfully there were no tornadoes or crazy storms, just the typical North Dakota wind :) Every single detail of their day was absolutely perfect. It’s clear to see Holli + Aaron are one of those couples that are meant to be together and are truly each others best friend. Congratulations to the Nelsons! Here’s a preview into their day :)
Sarah + Matt (or Hew as he is now nicknamed haha!) are quite the risk takers! Tuesday we were hit with some crazy storms in the afternoon, and these two still decided to chance the weather and make the trek to Baudette all the way from Bemidji.
